ISLAMABAD, Oct 23 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday disposed of the petition regarding recovery of PTI Leader Raja Shahbaz Ahmed after it was told that City Rawalpindi Police Station has arrested him in a case.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the petition of the brother of the missing citizen wherein Islamabad Police’s DSP Legal Sajid Cheema submitted the report. Lawyer petitioner Ansar Kiyani Advocate and others appeared in the court.
The report said that no case has been registered against Raja Shahbaz Bhatti in Shalimar police station and there is no arrest in capital.
It, however, disclosed that Raja Shahbaz Bhatti has been arrested by the Rawalpindi police as a case has been registered against Raja Shahbaz Bhatti in the City Rawalpindi police station under terrorism provisions.
The court disposed of the recovery request after the report was submitted by the Federal Police.
