ISLAMABAD, Dec 05 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday dismissed the petition against Judge Nasir Javed Rana, who had delivered the verdict in the 190 million pound NAB case against PTI founder and Bushra Bibi, declaring it inadmissible.
The IHC’s Chief Justice Sardar Sarfaraz Dogar, while pronouncing the verdict on the petition seeking debarment of Sessions Judge Nasir Javed Rana, dismissed the petition. The court has issued orders to dismiss the petition of Usama Riaz Rahi, declaring it inadmissible.
The petitioner Usama Riaz had filed a petition against the appointment and seeking to stop the judge from working in light of the Supreme Court’s 2004 observation. The court had previously reserved the verdict after hearing the preliminary arguments.
