ISLAMABAD, Nov 26 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday expressed annoyance with district administration and directed it to again issue advertisement with correction for recruitment of ‘patwaris’ against vacant posts in capital.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, hearing the case, expressed displeasure over not issuing correct advertisement of vacancies as per court order.
During hearing, the court remarked that whether the residents of Islamabad be employed in Punjab or Sindh. They do not appoint a Patwari of Chakwal in Rawalpindi and a Patwari of Rawalpindi in Jhelum, it said.
The court asked the district administration to re-issue the advertisement after correcting it till the next hearing.
Justice Kayani asked that does everything have to be done only after contempt of court. When I will take notice of contempt of court, I will handcuff him and send him to jail right away, he said.
He remarked that there are different decisions of this court, the quota is the same in the whole of Pakistan.This system cannot work for dishonest people, he said.
The court remarked that until the land of ‘Shamilat’ is distributed, the work of the housing society will not be run. Those who have plots will cry if the work is stopped, it said.
