ISLAMABAD, Jan 05 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday approved the Practice and Procedure Rules 2025 and Establishment Rules 2025 of the IHC and subordinate courts.
Registrar of the Islamabad High Court Muhammad Yar Walana issued separate notifications approving the rules approved by the Chief Justice and judges.
According to the notification issued regarding the Practice and Procedure Rules 2025, the new rules were approved under the powers vested in them under Article 202 of the Constitution. On February 18, 2025, the Practice and Procedure Rules were published in the Gazette of Pakistan. The Practice and Procedure Rules will come into effect from February 4, 2025.
According to the notification issued regarding the approval of the Establishment Rules 2025 of the Islamabad High Court, the gazette notification approving the rules of appointment and employment was issued on April 10. The new rules were approved under the powers vested in them under Article 208 of the Constitution.
