IGP Sohail visits PS, F-6 Khidmat Markaz
ISLAMABAD, Sep 30 (APP):Inspector General of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Capt (Retd) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry visited different police stations and the F-6 Khidmat Markaz, directing officers to improve public services and ensure quick resolution of citizens’ complaints.
An official told APP on Wednesday that the IGP Sohail reviewed policing matters and facilities being provided to citizens at the police stations. He also inspected cleanliness, official records and other administrative matters.
Sohail directed officers to ensure timely action on public complaints and further improve service delivery at police stations.
During his visit to the F-6 Khidmat Markaz, the IGP Sohail reviewed different facilities available to citizens and directed officials to make police services easier and more effective.
He said transparency, merit and timely action should be ensured while providing police services to the public.
Improving police station culture and promoting citizen-friendly policing are among our top priorities, the IGP said.
Sohail also met citizens during the visits and asked them about their problems and suggestions. Citizens shared their concerns and gave suggestions regarding police services.
The IGP Sohail directed the concerned officers to address their genuine problems on a priority basis.
He also asked police officers and personnel to deal with citizens with courtesy, respect and responsibility, saying better public dealing was an important part of citizen-friendly policing.
