Inspector General of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry on Thursday visited the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Headquarters and reviewed counter-terrorism measures, ongoing operations and security arrangements at sensitive locations across the federal capital.

ISLAMABAD, Sep 24 (APP): Inspector General of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry on Thursday visited the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Headquarters and reviewed counter-terrorism measures, ongoing operations and security arrangements at sensitive locations across the federal capital.
An official told that Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) CTD Saud Khan briefed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) on counter-terrorism measures, operations being carried out across Islamabad, security of sensitive locations and practical training of CTD personnel.
Sohail reviewed the overall performance of the CTD and directed officers to continue effective counter-terrorism measures and training activities to maintain operational readiness.
He stressed that officers should remain professionally prepared and continue efforts to strengthen security and effectively respond to any possible threat.
During the visit, the IGP Sohail also presented commendation certificates to officers who showed dedication to duty and delivered good performance.
Sohail appreciated their work and encouraged them to continue performing their duties with commitment and professionalism.
