IGP Sohail orders priority measures for welfare of police personnel

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry on Friday directed the concerned officers to give priority to the welfare and daily needs of police personnel so they could perform their duties effectively and provide better services to citizens.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 02 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry on Friday directed the concerned officers to give priority to the welfare and daily needs of police personnel so they could perform their duties effectively and provide better services to citizens.
According to official the IGP Sohail issued the directions during a meeting with the DSP Welfare and his team, where different measures for improving the welfare and facilities of police officers and personnel were discussed.
The meeting reviewed existing welfare measures, day-to-day facilities and other needs of police personnel serving citizens across the federal capital.
IGP Sohail directed the Welfare Branch to ensure that issues concerning police personnel were addressed on a priority basis and practical steps were taken to improve their facilities.
He said looking after the welfare of police personnel would help them perform their duties with greater focus and provide better services to the public.
