ISLAMABAD, Aug 30 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Sunday chaired an online meeting with senior police officers to review ongoing initiatives related to Safe City, logistics, security and police welfare, with a focus on improving their implementation and institutional performance.
An official told APP that the IGP Rizvi reviewed progress on various measures being undertaken in these key areas and discussed their effective implementation with the senior officers.
During the meeting, Rizvi provided guidance to the officers on the effective discharge of their responsibilities and directed them to further improve ongoing initiatives.
He also stressed better management of institutional matters and effective coordination to ensure that various police initiatives were carried forward in an organized manner.
The IGP Rizvi directed the officers to maintain focus on professional performance while continuously improving measures related to security, technology, logistics and the welfare of police personnel.
