Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Monday chaired an important meeting with senior officers to review administrative and operational affairs, logistics support and manpower, directing greater focus on efficient use of available resources.
IGP Rizvi puts resources, manpower in focus to strengthen police operations
ISLAMABAD, Aug 31 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Monday chaired an important meeting with senior officers to review administrative and operational affairs, logistics support and manpower, directing greater focus on efficient use of available resources.
An official told APP on Monday that the meeting was attended by DIG Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq, AIG Logistics Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt and SSP Investigation Suleman Zafar, said a press release here.
During the meeting, the IGP Rizvi reviewed administrative and operational requirements of the police force and discussed logistics support and manpower-related matters with the officers.
Rizvi directed the officers to further improve administrative affairs and ensure that available resources were utilised effectively to strengthen police operations.
He also called for special attention to manpower-related matters to ensure effective deployment and better management of human resources according to operational requirements.
The IGP Rizvi stressed that efficient resource management, adequate logistics support and effective utilisation of manpower were important for improving the overall operational and administrative performance of Islamabad Police.
