ISLAMABAD, Feb 26 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi inaugurated the newly established SSP Security/Operations Block aimed at strengthening the security management system in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Thursday that the creation of the new security wing would further enhance protection arrangements for sensitive installations, important locations, and special events.
He said the initiative would help ensure better monitoring of security matters, improved coordination, a more organised strategy, and a timely response mechanism.
The new block would also contribute to enhancing operational harmony, professional capacity, and overall performance of security operations.
Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that protecting the lives and property of citizens remained the foremost priority of Islamabad Police.
Senior police officers, including SSP Ali Raza Qazi and SP Suleman, were also present on the occasion.
