ISLAMABAD, Nov 02 (APP): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired a high-level meeting at the Central Police Office to review major investigations and Safe City operations in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Sunday that the meeting was attended by SSP Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt and senior Safe City officials.

The IGP Rizvi directed that all important cases must be finalized on merit through modern investigative tools, scientific evidence collection, and efficient follow-up in courts.
He appreciated the performance of investigation teams and the Safe City unit, instructing them to enhance real-time surveillance, data-driven monitoring, and rapid response capability to curb crime more effectively.

IGP Rizvi said Islamabad Police are equipping the investigation process with advanced technology to meet the requirements of modern policing and ensure timely delivery of justice.
He added that strengthening public safety, improving crime prevention strategies, and ensuring swift and transparent investigations remain top priorities of Islamabad Police.
“Welfare of police personnel and protection of citizens’ lives and property will continue to be our foremost responsibility,” he stressed.
