ISLAMABAD, Feb 22 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi conducted visits to various masajid and imambargahs to personally review security arrangements and operational preparedness.
A police spokesperson told APP on Sunday that the IGP Rizvi inspected security deployment, checking procedures, and overall vigilance of officers performing duties at places of worship.
IGP Rizvi met police officers on duty, appreciated their professional commitment, and issued directions to further enhance security measures to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for worshippers.
He emphasized that officers must remain fully alert, strengthen monitoring of entry and exit points, and maintain effective coordination to prevent any untoward incidents.
