ISLAMABAD, Feb 06 (APP): In a tragic development following the suicide blast at the Tarlai Imambargah, Hassan, the first cousin of Inspector General of Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi, was also confirmed among the martyrs.
The incident has added a deeply personal dimension to the tragedy for the Islamabad Police chief, who had earlier accompanied Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to the site for an inspection and condolence visit.
Authorities have reiterated their resolve to bring the perpetrators to justice, while prayers continue across the capital for the martyrs and the swift recovery of the injured.
