IESCO notifies power suspension programme

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday issued a power suspension programme for Wednesday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

ISLAMABAD, Apr 21 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday issued a power suspension programme for Wednesday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, in the Islamabad Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in Taramri, Waheedabad, Kund Rajgan, King Hammad, Azad Shaheed, Lehtrar Road, Chatta Bakhtawar, Kuri Road and Rehara areas.
Similarly, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, power supply will be disrupted in Shahpur, NIH, T&T, Bari Imam (B/Kahu-I and B/Kahu-II), Tret, Golf City, Park View and Athal feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Paryal, DHA Homes and Samarzar feeders, while in Rawalpindi City Circle, power supply will also remain suspended during the same hours in Adyala and Dhok Noor feeders.
In Jhelum Circle, the affected areas from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm include City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwala, LangarPur and Karoli feeders.
Meanwhile, in GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm in Azad Pattan areas.
In addition, shutdown of grid stations and transmission lines will also affect supply from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at 132kV New Wah (WAH-05) to POF South (POS-4), while from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, outages will occur on 132kV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132kV Kahuta City–Palandri lines.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
