IESCO notifies power suspension programme
ISLAMABAD, Apr 13 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Monday issued a power suspension programme for Tuesday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, power supply from Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 08:00 am to 01:00 pm in areas including Sukh Chain, F-9 Park, F-10/1, Meezan Bank, HC3 PIMS, C-2, Pak Land, F-10 Markaz, F-10 and F-10/3.
Similarly, electricity will remain unavailable from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm in Kuldana, Gharial, Angori, T&T, Golf City and Tret feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm in Quaid-e-Azam Colony and Samarzar areas, while in Rawalpindi City Circle, outages will be observed during the same timings in Dhok Chaudrian, Peshawar Road, Millatabad, NRC, Cob Lane, Adyala and Dhok Noor.
The supply will also remain disrupted from 07:00 am to 03:00 pm in Askari-XI and Cheering Cross feeders.
In Chakwal Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm in Duffer and PD Khan feeders, while in Jhelum Circle, the affected areas during the same timings include Pakhwal, F-2 (Chip Board), Industrial and F-10 (Kala Base) feeders.
Meanwhile, in GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm on 132KV New Wah (WAH-05) to POF South line, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm on 132KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang line and 132KV Kahuta City–Palandri line, along with adjoining areas.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
