The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Monday issued a power suspension programme for Tuesday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 30 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Monday issued a power suspension programme for Tuesday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended in various feeders of Islamabad Circle including NIH, T&T, B/Kahu-I and II, Tret, Golf City, Park View, Athal and Shahpur from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Similarly, in Rawalpindi City Circle, power supply to areas including Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Tehmasamabad and Dhok Hukam Dad will remain suspended during the same hours, while Rawalpindi Cantt Circle areas including RIC and Rahimabad will also face outages from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.
In Chakwal Circle, electricity supply to Abdullah Pur, CWO, Jalal Pur and Sagharpur feeders will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Meanwhile, under GSO Circle, power supply to Bagwal, Hasnot, Chak Yam, Padyat, Sohan and Domeli areas will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, while major transmission lines including 132-KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132-KV Kahuta City–Palandri will observe shutdown from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Additionally, 132-KV transmission line New Wah Bahter More will remain closed from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
