ISLAMABAD, Feb 13 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Friday issued a power suspension programme for Saturday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, in Rawalpindi City Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in areas including Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Tehmasamabad, Dhok Hukam Dad and RIC. From 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Chairing Cross feeders will remain closed.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in Chahan, Chauntra, Rajjar, SPF and Chakri areas. From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Committee Chowk, Zafar-ul-Haq Road, Arya Mohallah, Dhok Farman Ali, Tipu Road, Old Rawat, New Rawat, AOWHS, Suparco and CWO will face outages. Meanwhile, Kahuta City-1 and Lehtrar-1 feeders will remain closed from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
In Attock Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in Shakar Dara, Tanaza Dam, Laniwala, City-II, Sajjad Shaheed and Nescom areas, while Saray Kharboza feeders will remain off from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Gudwal-1 and Gudwal-2 feeders will face outages from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
In Chakwal Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm in Mureed, Al-Qaim Mills, Jamalwal and Mengan areas, while Main Bazar feeders will remain off from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Under GSO Circle, power supply from 132-KV Grid Station Bhagwal will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Additionally, Jabbi, Sajjad Shaheed, Microwave, Mari Time, Khunda, Fateh Jang, Karima and Gul Muhammad Shaheed feeders will remain off from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Furthermore, the 20/26 MVA Power Transformer T-3 at 132-KV Grid Station F-6 Islamabad and surrounding areas will remain closed from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
