ISLAMABAD, Feb 10 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday issued a power suspension programme for Wednesday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, the power supply will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in a number of feeders falling under Islamabad Circle, Rawalpindi City, Rawalpindi Cantt, Attock, Chakwal and GSO circles.
In Islamabad Circle, from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm, Kund Rajgan, King Hamad University, Taramari, Comsats, Chata, feeders, Rawalpindi City Circle, Feeders, Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm Askari-7, Sir Syed road, CMH Flats, FFC, Khadim Hussain road, Adam Jee Road, from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm Kahuta City-1, Lehtrar-1, Feeders, Attock Circle, from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm Fawara Chowk, Shakar Dara, from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm Shah Allah Ditta, Feeder, Chakwal Circle, from 08:00 am to 02:00 pm Mureed, Al-Qaim Mills, Jamalwal, Mengan from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm Islamia Chowk Feeder, GSO Circle, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Grid Station Bhagwal, and surrounding areas will remain closed.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time
