ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Sunday issued a power suspension programme for Monday on several feeders due to ongoing development works being carried out by the district administration.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in areas served by Islamabad Club-1, Islamabad Club-2, Mahfooz Shaheed/Shahzad Town, Filtration Plant, Pindorian, Scheme-2, Orchard Scheme and CDA Pump feeders in Islamabad Circle.
In Rawalpindi City Circle, the affected feeders include Millatabad, Dhoke Chaudrian, Peshawar Road, Askari-XI and Cob Lane. IESCO management apologized to its valued consumers for this temporary interruption in electricity supply.
The sole purpose of these shutdowns was to facilitate the timely completion of development projects, including construction of flyovers, underpasses, installation of new 11kV feeders, road widening and other related development activities.
