The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Thursday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

ISLAMABAD, Jul 01 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Thursday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, in Rawalpindi Cantt Circle electricity supply will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am from Jarar Camp, Bhall, Jatha Hathial and Basali feeders.
In Attock Circle, power supply from the Fawara Chowk feeder will also remain suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.
In Jhelum Circle, electricity supply from Pakhwal, F-7 (Kutchery), Ajmal Shaheed, Karim Pura, Bilal Town, Abbas Pura, Borian, F-2 (Chip Board), Industrial, F-10 (Kala Base), Jakkar and F-9 (Chak Daulat) feeders will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.
Similarly, in Chakwal Circle, power supply from Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, CWO, PD Khan and Duffer feeders will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, while Jamal Wal and Mengan feeders will remain without electricity from 6:00 am to 12:00 noon.
In GSO Circle, from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm, power transformer T-1 132KV GSS R.B Mangla, 132kv AWC HMC Taxila and 132KV Sangjani-Burhan, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri, 132KV New Wah-Bahtermore along with related earth switch, and surrounding areas will remain closed.
IESCO apologized to consumers for the temporary inconvenience and said electricity supply would be restored before the scheduled time if the maintenance work was completed earlier than expected.
