IESCO notifies power suspension programme
ISLAMABAD, Jun 09 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday issued a power suspension programme for Wednesday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesman, under Islamabad Circle, electricity supply from the Gharial feeder will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Under Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power supply from RIC, Rahimabad and Samarzar feeders will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
Similarly, under Rawalpindi City Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am in areas fed by Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Tehmasamabad, Dhok Hukam Dad, Shalimar Town, Nogazi, Bajniyal-I, Top City, Adyala, Dhok Noor, Dhok Chaudrian, Peshawar Road, Millatabad, Charing Cross, NRC, Cobe Lane and Askari-XI feeders.
In Attock Circle, electricity supply from Attock Rural, Teen Mela and Bagh Neelab feeders will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
In GSO Circle, from 06:00 am to 03:00 pm, Azad Pattan, from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm, 132KV New Wah to POF along with related earth switch, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri, 132KV New Wah-Bahtermore along with related earth switch, and surrounding areas will remain closed.
IESCO management apologizes to its esteemed customers for the power outage. If the work is completed ahead of time, the power supply can be restored even before the scheduled time.
