IESCO notifies power suspension programme

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Sunday issued a power suspension programme for Monday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

ISLAMABAD, May 24 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Sunday issued a power suspension programme for Monday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, power supply from Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am for Kund Rajgan, Scheme-II, King Hammad, Chatta Bakhtawar and adjoining feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 11:00 am for Old Rawat, New Rawat, AOWHS, Suparco and CWO feeders, while Japan Road and Jhandala feeders will remain affected from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
Similarly, in Rawalpindi City Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am for areas including Golra, Shammas Colony, Quaid-e-Azam Hospital, Zarkoon Heights, P&T Wani, New Azharabad, Azharabad, EME Complex and CWO feeders.
In Jhelum Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am for Karyala, Metro City, Grand City, Bolani, Akram Shaheed and Zubair Shaheed feeders.
In GSO Circle, from 06:00 am to 01:30 pm, Hanif Shaheed, Ibrar Shaheed, Ghazan Khan, Nahr, KRL, Lehtrar, Khawaja, Nara Mator, Kahuta City, Panjar, Kahuta City-2, THQ, Lehtrar, Balwara, Kror, Kotli Sattiyan, from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm, 132KV New Wah to POF along with related earth switch,   from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri,  and surrounding areas will remain closed.
IESCO management apologizes to its esteemed customers for the power outage. If the work is completed ahead of time, the power supply can be restored even before the scheduled time.
