ISLAMABAD, May 22 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Friday issued a power suspension programme for Saturday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended in Islamabad Circle from 07:00 am to 11:00 am in areas including Fazal Rebbar, New PTN, MG Steel, Ufone, SES, Fazal Ghee, Industrial-III, Industrial-II, Warid Telecom, PTN, Industrial-I, and EVC-II feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 11:00 am in Rehmatabad-I, Chaklala, Takbeer-I, Takbeer-II, Takbeer-III, Kot Jabbi, LTC, New Mandra, Old Mandra, Hamid Jhangi, Zaraj-I, Zaraj-II, Zeta Mall, IST, Dk Awan, Mohra Nagial and adjoining feeders.
In Rawalpindi City Circle, power suspension will continue from 06:30 am to 01:00 pm in Chairing Cross, Milatabad, NRC, Askari-XI, from 07:00 am to 11:00 am, Katarian, Banni, Sector-IV, APHS, PAF feeders.
In Attock Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm in Jamalwal, Mengan and surrounding feeders. In Jhelum Circle, power shutdown will be observed from 07:00 am to 11:00 am in Hayat Sir Road, New Sanghoi, Chotala, Khai Khulia, City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwal and Langarpur feeders.
In GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 06:30 am to 01:00 pm in R.A Bazar, AWT, Mall Road, AFIC, Tench Bhatta, MH-3, Qasim Market, CMH-2, Sprint Mall, GHQ, Kiyani Road, Army Flat, MH-1, CMH-1, MH-2, Zeeshan Colony, Haider Road, Canning Road, Hospital Road, N.I.A.S.R, NLC, from 06:00 am to 01:30 pm, Hanif Shaheed, Ibrar Shaheed, Ghazan Khan, Nahr, KRL, Lehtrar, Khawaja, Nara Mator, Kahuta City, Panjar, Kahuta City-2, THQ, Lehtrar, Balwara, Kror, Kotli Sattiyan, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri and surrounding areas will remain closed.
IESCO management apologizes to its esteemed customers for the power outage. If the work is completed ahead of time, the power supply can be restored even before the scheduled time.
