ISLAMABAD, Feb 23 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has taken another major step towards improving and modernizing customer services with the inauguration of its first state-of-the-art Customer Facilitation Center at the IESCO
Head Office.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Chairman IESCO Dr. Tahir Masood, along with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) IESCO Engineer Chaudhary Khalid Mahmood and Board Members Rana Abdul Sattar, Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed, Shahid Farooq, and Engineer Syed Faizan Ali.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Dr. Tahir Masood expressed his pleasure over the launch of the modern facility, stating that the initiative has been implemented in line with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari.
He said the new Customer Facilitation Center will provide all electricity-related services under one roof in a clean, comfortable, and customer-friendly environment. Services available at the center include bill installment plans,
extension in due dates, bill corrections, change of name or address, registration and resolution of power outage complaints, and most importantly, submission of applications for new electricity connections.
“The customer is highly respected for us. Our goal is to ensure dignified treatment and provide quality services in a pleasant environment,” the Chairman said.
Dr. Tahir Masood directed Board Member Rana Abdul Sattar and CEO Engineer Chaudhary Khalid Mahmood to establish similar Customer Facilitation Centers across all IESCO regions. He also instructed officers and staff to ensure a welcoming office environment so that consumers can clearly feel a positive change and remain confident that their issues will be resolved promptly and efficiently.
