ICT public schools need 3000 more teachers: Dr Tariq Fazal

ISLAMABAD, Jan 17 (APP):Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry Wednesday said the public sector schools of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) needed 3,000 more teachers.
Addressing a prize distribution ceremony here at Islamabad Model School for Girls Gar Dio Geer Sehala Sector, the minister said the government was serious to resolve the issue of contractual teachers. some teachers working on contract were among the best ones in the ICT schools, he added
He said the role of teachers was mandatory for raising the standard of education. The Prime Minister’s Education Reforms Programme would help raise the standard of education in the federal capital, he added.
The minister appreciated the managements of public schools in Sehala sector, whose students had obtained top positions in primary examinations.
