ICT Police sweep Islamabad areas, 16 suspects shifted for verification in grand search operations
ISLAMABAD, Sep 05 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police on Saturday carried out large-scale grand combing and search operations across different areas of the federal capital, checking 277 people, 83 houses, 58 shops and 21 hotels, while shifting 16 suspicious persons to police stations for further verification.
An official told APP that the police teams were given a detailed briefing before the search operations, while female police personnel also participated in the exercise.
During the operations, police checked 109 motorcycles and 56 vehicles at different locations.
Police shifted 16 suspicious persons and 15 motorcycles to the respective police stations for further verification.
The operations are part of ongoing security and checking measures across different areas of Islamabad.
ICT Police urged citizens to cooperate with police personnel during checking and immediately report any suspicious activity to the police.
