ISLAMABAD, Dec 14 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police are actively working to ensure the protection of citizens and timely delivery of justice, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt said during an open-door meeting with citizens.
An official told APP on Sunday that under the open-door policy, SSP Usman met complainants at his office, listened to their concerns and directed officers to provide immediate protection and relief to affected citizens.
He instructed investigators to ensure the arrest of suspects involved in murder cases and emphasized that negligence in addressing public grievances would not be tolerated. “Protection of citizens’ lives, property and dignity is our top priority,” SSP Usman said.
He further directed that all cases be investigated on merit and assured complainants that Islamabad Police would stand by them until justice is served.
