ISLAMABAD, Mar 29 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police put three accused behind bars during separate actions in the jurisdiction of Shams Colony Police Station and recovered liquor and weapons from their possession.
An official told APP on Sunday that a police team led by ASI Ubaidullah, along with his team, conducted patrolling and checking operations and apprehended multiple suspects involved in illegal activities.

He said the police arrested an accused, Ahsan Ali, son of Dilawar Khan, a resident of Swat, and recovered 20 litres of liquor from his possession. A case has been registered against him under relevant sections of law.
He said another accused, Qasim Ali, son of Ashiq Hussain, a resident of Hafizabad, was arrested and a 30-bore pistol was recovered from his possession, for which a case has been registered.

He added that a third accused, Sadiq Ullah, son of Zafran Khan, a resident of Gulshan Khudadad Sector H-13, was also apprehended and a 30-bore pistol was recovered from him.
The official said separate cases have been registered against the accused persons in Shams Colony Police Station and further investigation is underway.
He said Islamabad Police continued its crackdown against criminal elements to ensure law and order in the federal capital.
