ICT Police partners with Woodland Health Center to improve medical care

ISLAMABAD, Feb 11 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Woodland Health Center to enhance medical facilities for police officers and their families.
An official told APP that the MoU was signed as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare services within Islamabad Police.
He said Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Logistics Abdul Haque Umrani and Diabetic General Physician Dr. Inayat Ullah formally signed the agreement.

Under the MoU, Dr. Inayat Ullah will provide medical services at the Police Lines Headquarters dispensary, the official added.
Speaking on the occasion, AIG Logistics Abdul Haque Umrani said the initiative aims to improve the health and well-being of police officers.
He said ICT Police is taking multiple measures to ensure the provision of quality medical facilities for officers and their families.
He further noted that improved healthcare services contribute to boosting morale and operational efficiency of the force.
The official said AIG Logistics also visited the Police Lines Headquarters dispensary, where he met with doctors and relevant staff.
During the visit, he reviewed existing medical facilities and issued directions for further improvement.
