ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police organized a farewell ceremony to honor Inspector Tariq Saeed of the wireless staff on his retirement. The event was attended by senior officers who paid rich tributes to his long and dedicated service.
An official told APP on Wednesday that the officers, while acknowledging his contributions, remarked that retirement is part of service and that every officer should strive to leave behind a positive legacy of commitment and honor.
They highlighted that public service is a noble duty and should be performed in a way that earns the respect of colleagues and the pleasure of Almighty Allah.
On the occasion, Inspector Tariq Saeed expressed gratitude to the department, saying he felt proud to have served the force and was deeply touched by the respect shown at the farewell.
At the end of the ceremony, he was presented with an honorary police shield and gifts in recognition of his services, along with warm wishes for his future endeavors.
