ISLAMABAD, Dec 14 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police conducted search and combing operations in the jurisdictions of Bani Gala, Margalla and Ramna police stations as part of ongoing security measures to curb crime and ensure public safety in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Sunday that search and combing operations were carried out under the supervision of the respective zonal SPs. Before the operation, police personnel were properly briefed about operational procedures and security protocols, while women police officers also actively participated in the search process.
During the operations, police teams checked 204 individuals, 129 houses, 59 shops and hotels, 155 motorcycles and 44 vehicles. The official added that four suspicious persons and 22 motorcycles were shifted to police stations for further legal proceedings and verification.
The official said that such operations are part of an ongoing strategy to strengthen vigilance in sensitive areas and maintain law and order across Islamabad.
SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said that the primary objective of these search operations is to tighten the security cordon around criminal elements and further reinforce the overall security framework of the city. He reiterated that indiscriminate action would continue against criminals, land grabbers and drug traffickers.
