ISLAMABAD, Nov 06 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police intensified crackdown against motorcycle theft yielded a major success as seven looted motorcycles were recovered and two members of a bike-lifter gang were arrested
An official told APP on Thursday that police teams from Lohi Bher and Koral Police Stations, using modern technical tools and human intelligence, arrested the accused identified as Yasir Ali and Ali Asghar.

He said the recovered motorcycles were stolen from Lohi Bher, Koral and nearby localities, and cases have been registered accordingly. During initial interrogation, the accused confessed to involvement in multiple thefts and further revelations are expected as investigation expands.
DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq said strict measures taken against motorcycle theft and street crimes have led to a notable decline in such incidents. He directed officers to ensure continuation of the crackdown and bring all criminals involved to justice.
ICT Police reaffirmed its resolve to protect life and property and ensure a safe and crime-free Capital.
