ISLAMABAD, Aug 23 (APP):With 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal approaching, Islamabad’s district administration held a meeting to review arrangements for processions, religious gatherings and public events across the federal capital.
The session, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Memon, brought together police officials, administrative officers, religious scholars and representatives from different schools of thought to discuss security, traffic management and public facilities ahead of the observance of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal.
The meeting focused on preparations for processions, gatherings and other religious activities planned for the occasion. Participants reviewed administrative measures and discussed ways to ensure smooth conduct of events throughout the city.
Deputy Commissioner Irfan Memon presided over the session, which was attended by senior police officers, district administration representatives and scholars from various religious backgrounds. Organizers of religious events also participated and shared suggestions regarding arrangements and operational requirements.
Officials conducted a detailed review of procession routes and discussed plans related to security deployment, traffic regulation and coordination among departments. Participants examined measures aimed at maintaining public order while facilitating the movement of participants and residents.
Religious scholars and event organizers briefed the administration on issues related to the upcoming observance and presented recommendations concerning management and logistical matters. Authorities assured participants that their proposals would be considered during the finalization of arrangements.
