IBA elections to be held on Nov 1

ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP):The elections of Islamabad Bar Council will be held on November 1, at judicial complex.

District and Sessions Judges East and West will serve as Presiding Officers, while a total of 20 judges will serve as Polling Officers.

The 21 candidates are contesting for 5 seats in the elections and more than 6,000 lawyers will exercise their right of vote.

Each voter will be able to cast 5 votes. Polling will continue from 8 am to 4 pm at the Judicial Complex. The Islamabad Bar Council has issued a notification of the list of candidates and polling judges.
