ISLAMABAD, Oct 11 (APP):The Health Services Academy (HSA), Government of Pakistan, has welcomed the inaugural batch of its MS Health Economics and Management (MS HEM) programme for the Fall 2026 semester, marking a new milestone in its academic development.
The academy held a welcome and orientation session to introduce the incoming students to the programme’s academic vision, learning environment and professional opportunities.
Dean of Social and Interdisciplinary Sciences Dr. Tariq Mahmood Ali delivered the opening remarks, while HSA Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan welcomed the students and highlighted the importance of developing expertise in health economics and management.
The session also featured contributions from the academy’s academic leadership and faculty, who familiarized students with the programme’s objectives and learning opportunities.
The MS HEM programme aims to prepare skilled professionals to support evidence-based healthcare decision-making, strengthen health systems and improve healthcare management through informed policy and resource allocation.
The launch of the inaugural batch reflects HSA’s commitment to expanding specialised academic programmes and building professional capacity to address emerging challenges in the healthcare sector.
