ISLAMABAD, Dec 16 (APP):The New General Aviation Aerodrome in Lahore marked a major milestone today with the successful landing of a twin-engine aircraft, following its recent accommodation of a single-engine aircraft.
Director General of the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed, was aboard the flight, operated by Air Eagle and piloted by CEO Air Commodore (Retd) Shahid Bajwa. Their participation underscores the crucial role of general aviation operators in Pakistan’s growing aviation landscape.
The landing was executed with precision, highlighting the aerodrome’s operational readiness, technical infrastructure, and coordinated airside management, in line with international aviation standards.
This milestone signals a significant step forward for Pakistan’s general aviation sector. The Pakistan Airports Authority reaffirmed its commitment to expanding regional aviation capacity, strengthening infrastructure, and fostering collaboration with private aviation stakeholders to promote national aviation excellence.
