ISLAMABAD, Jun 03 (APP):The Higher Education Commission (HEC’s) month-long capacity building initiative for the academic leaders and university management on university governance and leadership concluded.
Registrars, Deans, Controller of Examinations and Treasurers of as many as 47 universities from across the country took part in the programme. It was organised in collaboration with the British Council Pakistan, and Edinburgh Napier University (ENU), UK under the umbrella of Pakistan-UK Education Gateway, a programme.
The programme aims to enhance partnership between the higher education sectors of Pakistan and the UK. IMSciences Peshawar was the partner of ENU for this training programme.
Adviser Global Engagement Division HEC Mr Awais Ahmad was the chief guest of the closing ceremony, attended by Deputy Director British Council Ms Marya Rehman, Head of Global Online Edinburgh Napier University Dr Fawad Khaleel, Joint Director IMSciences Dr Atta ur Rahman and other notables. Colleagues from HEC and the British Council were also present on the occasion.
The certification programme spanned three weeks of online and one week of in-person sessions.
