Heavy snowfall: Pakistan Army continues rescues, relief operations in various parts

ISLAMABAD, Jan 23 (APP): The Pakistan Army is actively carrying out rescue and relief operations following heavy snowfall in various parts of the country, including Tirah, Mohmand, Kalam, Swat, Murree, Azad Kashmir, Zhob and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Army teams are engaged in clearing highways and roads blocked by snow to ensure smooth traffic flow. Army Jawans are also rescuing elderly people, women and children stranded in affected areas and shifting them to safer locations.
The Pakistan Army is also providing food, shelter and warm clothing to those affected by the severe weather. Special arrangements have been made to cater to the needs of children, the elderly and persons with disabilities.
These efforts reflect the state’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of its citizens during difficult times.
