HBAC meets, discusses legislative business for 360th session
ISLAMABAD, Apr 07 (APP):The House Business Advisory Committee (HBAC) of the Senate met on Tuesday with Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani in the Chair and discussed in detail the legislative business to be transacted during the 360th Session of the Senate.
Besides legislative business, the session would take up discussion on the current situation of important national and international issues, said a press release.
The HBAC decided that the current session is likely to continue till 17th April, 2026. The Committee also expressed solidarity with Senator Sherry Rehman over the passing away of her daughter. Members offered condolences and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan, Senator Raja Nasir Abbas, Leader of the Opposition, Senator Rana Sanaullah Khan, Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Manzoor Ahmad, Senator Haji Hidayatullah Khan, Senator Moulana Atta-ur-Rehman, Senator Amir Walli ud Din Chishti, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Senator Anusha Rehman, Senator Jan Muhammad, Senator Ali Zafar, Minister for Law & Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Secretary Senate Syed Hasnain Haider.
The Secretary Senate briefed the Committee about the legislative business to be transacted during the current session.
