Haroon Akhtar discusses tax proposals with SECP chairman

ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP): Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant
to the Prime Minister for Revenue, on Wednesday visited the
Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Limited (SECP) and
held meetings with the Chairman and other senior officials on
various matters of importance.
During the meetings, Haroon Akhtar Khan was briefed on the SECP’s
functions and responsibilities and its proactive role towards
creation of a fair and efficient corporate sector, capital market
and non-bank financial sector.
The purpose of the briefing was to highlight policy aspects
for the development of non-bank financial sector and capital market.
