ISLAMABAD, Dec 11 (APP): Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf on Friday said that implementation on the joint communiqu signed and issued on conclusion of the Heart of Asia Conference (HAC) would bring positive
affects in the region.
Talking to media outside the parliament house, he said that “holding of Heart of Asia Conference in Pakistan was a positive development and the joint agreement signed by the participant countries must be implemented in its true spirit as its implementation will bring
positive affects in the region.”
To a question, the minister said that Pakistan effectively highlighted the Kashmir issue at all the international forums including United Nations Organization (UNO).
He said durable peace in the reign cannot be guaranteed without resolving Kashmir issue as per the aspiration of Kashmiri people and according to UN resolutions.
To another question he appreciated the efforts of Rangers in restoring peace and improving law and order situation in the Karachi city.
The minister advocated for giving extension to Rangers powers in Karachi city for taking action against terrorists and criminals.
