`Govt’s prudent policies for road infrastructure yielding positive results’

ISLAMABAD, Nov 22 (APP): Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) Miftah Ismail has said that the PM Nawaz Sharif is the only political leader who being the Prime Minister facilitated the people of country by constructing motorways.
Speaking in Radio Pakistan’s program, he said the people have been availing motorway facility for safe and fast travelling since long added that the PM has also vowed to construct Lahore to Karachi motorway, which is a positive development added that the PM also inaugurated Khanewal- Multan section on 21 November which is very appreciable step .
PML-N leader Muhammad Khan said: “Road infrastructure is an important
component of progress of any country. Khanewal to Multan motorway project is
definitely a gift of present government for the people of these areas.
People of southern Punjab are happy and declared it a positive gesture of PML-N government. The farmers will get the benefit of this project by transporting fruits and vegetables to the markets in less time. The distance between Khanewal to Karachi will be reduced up to eight hours. Youth of Punjab will get job opportunities through this project.”
Chairman, National Assembly Standing Committee for Information and
Broadcasting Pir Muhammad Aslam Bodla said: “It is the first time that a
government has presented a gift of motorway for the people of southern Punjab,which will definitely facilitate the people of this area. Small farmers will get an easy access to the markets for transportation of their stuff comparatively in less time.”
Incharge, M-4 Motorway section Mansoor Ahmed Sarohi said: “The
construction of Gujranwala to Faisalabad section of this project has been
completed and is now open for the public. This is an international standard
motorway. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated Khanewal-Multan section of
motorway in Khanewal. It is 56 kilometer long project and a four lane road.
After the completion of Khanewal-Multan section, services station will also be constructed. This project will facilitate the people of southern Punjab and will save the time of travelling of the people.”
