ISLAMABAD, Sep 15 (APP):Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Dr Zafar Mirza Sunday said the government was committed to strengthen the primary healthcare system in country.
Addressing a health conference here, Dr Mirza said that ensuring ‘Universal Health Coverage’ was vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan to provide the people with essential and quality healthcare facilities according to their need.
He said investing in the primary health care system was of vital importance to achieve the goals of universal healthcare. He said about seventy to eighty percent of necessarily health care can be provided at the primary healthcare level.
