Govt. to provide conducive atmosphere to investors: Ghulam Sarwar

ISLAMABAD, Apr 8 (APP):Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar on Monday said that the government is pursuing the policy to provide conducive atmosphere to investors in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The government is curbing the energy crisis by improved governance in the energy sector, he said while addressing a 40 member delegation from France arrived here to attend the investment conference.
He said that the government is giving special attention to investment in oil and gas sectors. It was the top priority of the government to provide environment friendly and affordable energy to people of the country.
To meet the growing demand in transport, industries and power sectors, he said, many international and domestic investors are showing keen interest to make an investment in these sectors.
The minister said that the government will offer more blocks to international and local companies for the exploration of oil and gas in the country. Presently, he said, the government is offering best incentives to companies associated with gas and oil exploration sector, he added.
