ISLAMABAD, Jan 14 (APP):Minister of State for Revenue, Hamad Azhar Monday said that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), government wanted to expand tax network by introducing business friendly policies.Talking to a private news channel, he said that the last governments could not achieve the tax target due to unfriendly policies of the concerned persons.  
We have changed the officers in federal board of revenue (FBR) to streamline the system, he said. 
Hamad Azhar stated that the administrative and policy matters departments, would perform work separately.   
The government had to bear the loss of 60 billion rupee due to reduction in sales tax of petroleum products, he said. 
The last government of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), had been unsuccessful in achieving the tax target set for the fiscal years. The government had to bear the loss of 258 billion rupee in that regard, he added. 
The PTI government had set up a committee for tax reforms, the state minister stated.   
To a question he said that there is a need to upgrade the value assessment of properties. 
In reply to a question Hamad Azhar said the government do not want to impose taxes but to provide easiness for tax payers.
