LAHORE, Jan 14 (APP):Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Monday said the government would ensure indiscriminate accountability and root out corruption from the country.During a meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Additional Secretary General Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry at the Governor's House here, he said Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan was committed to root out corruption from the country, adding that once corruption was eliminated, all problems would resolve automatically.
Punjab Governor said the government would eradicate corruption, injustice and oppression from society and ensure transparency and merit.
He said the foreign visits of PM had bolstered confidence among the investors which was a good omen for the economy of the country.
The Governor said efforts were being made to strengthen democracy and provide basic amenities of life to the common man under the dynamic leadership of PM Imran Khan.
He said the PM was aware of the challenges faced by the country and he was taking steps on emergency basis to resolve them.
Punjab Govenror Ch Sarwar said foreign visits of Imran Khan would further attract investments and these would help overcome unemployment in the country.
