HARIPUR, Jan 21 (APP)::Federal Minister for Water and Power, Omer Ayub Khan on Sunday said that the government is taking concrete steps to end energy crises form the country. He said this while addressing a public gathering after the inauguration of Sui gas provision projects here at Maira Tot, Mohri and Nigar Dheri.

Omer said that provision of sui gas and electricity in the deprived areas is the government’s top priority.During a very short period of time, “we have in hand a large number of developmental projects for district Haripur”.
The minister assured that all the under developed villages would be provided Sui gas within six months adding that the developmental schemes those were not completed during the last 12 years would also be completed.
Talking about electricity provision projects, he said that Hattar 220 KV grid station and 132 KV grid stations of Khanpur and Sari Saleh would resolve the issues of electricity for the next 50 years.
