ISLAMABAD, Aug 20 (APP):Minister of State for Finance, Bilal Azhar Kayani on Thursday said the government was taking measures under the direction of Prime Minister to create a conducive environment for investors and promote investment in the country.
Replying to a question in the Senate, he said the government was focused on facilitating investors and encouraging greater participation of the private sector in economic activities.
He said several incentives were being introduced in consultation with the private sector to facilitate investment and encourage businesses.
The minister said the government was working with relevant stakeholders to identify measures that could further improve the investment environment and support business activity.
He said consultation with the private sector was important for developing effective incentives and policies aimed at promoting investment.
Bilal Azhar Kayani reiterated that the government was committed to creating an investor-friendly environment in line with the Prime Minister’s direction.
