ISLAMABAD, Feb 15 (APP):Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering young talent and promoting Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage on global platforms on Sunday.
Addressing the logo unveiling ceremony of the Isloo International Fashion Tourism Festival 2026, the minister announced that the government is taking concrete steps to support the creative sector while preserving and showcasing the nation’s diverse cultural identity to the world.

The ceremony was held at the SilkRoad Culture Centre, Sir Syed Hall, where the official logo of the festival was unveiled in the presence of ambassadors, distinguished guests, young participants, and media representatives.
The Ambassador of Azerbaijan also attended the event as a special guest.
Addressing the gathering, Aurangzeb Khichi termed the initiative a significant step towards promoting Pakistan’s tourism and cultural industries.
He said it was a great honour to attend the inspiring ceremony and appreciated the creativity behind the newly unveiled green logo, calling it a symbol of growth, vitality and innovation.

The minister noted that the main festival would serve as a testament to Pakistan’s vast tourism potential and highlighted the role of Royal Rovers in promoting fashion tourism in the country.
The federal minister specifically urged those associated with the fashion industry to organize special competitions that highlight the traditional costumes of all provinces, with particular emphasis on Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
He stressed the importance of showcasing these regional traditional attires on the global stage, emphasizing that fashion is a powerful medium for presenting Pakistan’s rich heritage to the world, particularly when traditional elements are blended with contemporary trends.

The minister commended Royal Rovers for providing a platform for youth empowerment and encouraging young talent to showcase their skills through creative and modern approaches to fashion.
He appreciated the organisers’ efforts in introducing emerging designers and artists, describing it as a challenging yet commendable responsibility undertaken by Royal Rovers.
He also expressed satisfaction that the management is internationally registered in Azerbaijan under the name “M DOT,” reflecting its expanding global footprint.
In a significant announcement, the federal minister reaffirmed his ministry’s commitment to supporting emerging talent across various creative fields.
He stated that his ministry will provide free facilities to young artists, painters, and craftsmen for exhibitions.
This initiative demonstrates the government’s practical support for removing barriers that often prevent talented youth from displaying their work and reaching wider audiences.

Congratulating the organisers, the minister urged ambassadors to encourage participation of their youth in the festival, saying such initiatives would not only promote fashion tourism globally but also foster cultural understanding and collaboration among young people from different countries.
