LAHORE, Nov 6 (APP): National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Sunday said the government was raising the Kashmir issue at every international forum in an effective manner.
Talking to media here, he said terrorism was a big challenge, which was being fought bravely by the people and armed forces of Pakistan.
To a question regarding the recent PTI protest, the Speaker said maintenance of law and order was a priority of the government.
“The nation knows PTI’s designs, which is conspiring to make the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) a failure,” he added.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said the CPEC was a project of the whole country, and not that of the government only.
To another question regarding the Panama Papers case, he said the case was being heard in the Supreme Court at present and everyone should avoid commenting on it.
The Speaker said that during the dictatorship of Pervaiz Musharraf, false cases were fabricated against the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leaders.
